Since my last post so let's hope this is a good post!
Last Friday I did merch for my friend Ryan Sweets band UTKF (look them up if you haven't), and was also informed that they want me to go on a small tour for two weeks, which I am more then stoked on doing! If not for the chance to travel with bands again, but for the great times with rad friends.
Speaking of UTKF, the guys have offically said that I will be handling their album art for their next album! I'm both stoked and nervous about this. Stoked that if they use it I can finally rub it in my dads face that graphic design wasn't a waste of time after all, and nervous because its a lot of work and I want to have something that will look good for them. Ontop of that, Johnny OC wants me to do work for him too! So my life is slowly getting more and more busy as the days pass.
I also spent a little more then the whole weekend at the girls place, and it was great. Her bedroom is pitch black so I finally got to sleep past ten AM, infact we slept in till just past noon every morning. Such a good weekend, even though all we did was lay around watching movies and episodes of house but I wouldn't trade it for anything!
This weekend I will be heading home to Port Franks to visit my mum, do all my laundry, see old friends and take a whole lot of photos. I'm pretty excited for this!
Other then the already mentioned, I guess all that's left to talk about it work. Hopefully I get my two raises this month which should put me close to fifteen dollars an hour, which will help a whole lot. I also will be working thirteen hour days every Thursday, which will also help with money so it worth it.
Other then my computer being broken again, not much is wrong with my day to day life :]
I'm going to cheer up Kristen (my room mate) and finish watching Bruce Almighty!
