so...

Last night was one of the best nights I've had in a really long time. Besides having a small taste of the Halo: Reach BETA, making far too many "that's what she said." jokes, I went over for dinner and a movie at the girls new place. I haven't had a meal cooked for me in quite a while, it was only Velveeta KD but I have never had it before so it was an experience regardless! In case you were wondering, yes it was delicious, but I think I may be mildly lactose intolerant as the mass amount of cheese made me feel a little queezy. After cheese-fest we watched Oceans 12 in bed and kinda fell asleep here and there, but it was a great night anyhow. If this girl keeps up this cuteness its going to be impossible to not fall even more for her.

As for today, I'm going to play as much of the Reach BETA as humanly possible. Providing that the Bungie servers are fixed and will let me play more then one game before shutting down and bumming out well over 50,000 nerds like me. Once the retail copies hit shelves this fall, I will happily drop $150.00 on the Legendary Edition.

With a price of $149.99, the Halo Reach Legendary Edition is one of the pricier collector's editions we've seen, but it certainly isn't without reason. There's not mini-plastic cat helmet inside this box. Instead, Bungie commissioned McFarlane Toys to create a 10 inch tall, 10 pound diorama statue featuring the members of Noble Team, the stars of the game.

As if that weren't enough, the Legendary Edition also comes with a flaming Spartan helmet for multiplayer, as well as all of the contents of the Limited Edition, all packed inside a striking UNSC-themed custom box.

I like to justify this purchase by saying it's the last game in the Halo series, at least that Bungie is developing. So its important to me that i go all out and show my support!

Now I think it's time to have a nap with Joshua (my cat), and watch some more of The Office.

Take it easy!
